One of our fabric recycled polyester/spandex fabric has undergone rigorous testing to ensure it meets the highest standards in durability, color retention, and sun protection.
1. Outstanding Color Fastness
Our fabric has been tested by SGS for color fastness in both chlorinated and sea water, with excellent results:
- Color Fastness to Chlorinated Water: Rated Grade 4 on a 5-point scale, showing strong resistance to fading in pool water.
- Color Fastness to Sea Water: Rated Grade 4-5 across various fibers, meaning colors stay vibrant even after exposure to salty sea water.
2. Excellent UV Protection (UPF 50+)
The fabric also offers superior UV protection with a UPF rating of 50+. Tested to AS 4399:2020 standards, it provides excellent coverage from harmful sun rays:
- Mean UPF: 735, indicating powerful UV-blocking properties.
- Minimal UV Transmission: Only 0.23% UVA and 0.10% UVB transmission, ensuring maximum sun protection.
